Hi, I'm Tijs, proud co-owner of Velocity Vanguard Racing. I joined the team shortly after Kars founded VVR in early 2024, and before long I stepped into a management role to help build the team into the lovely community it is today. Since then, I've been involved in almost every aspect of the team, from organizing events to helping shape the future of VVR. My main passion is iRacing, particularly endurance racing. Over the years I've competed in numerous official special events and endurance races. I've witnessed every milestone in the team's journey, the biggest successes, the toughest setbacks, and everything in between. I know our drivers well, understanding both their strengths and the areas where they can improve, and I enjoy helping members develop their skills while building strong team chemistry. My goal is to keep pushing Velocity Vanguard Racing forward, creating an environment where drivers can improve, compete at a high level, and most importantly, enjoy racing together!

I have more than 20 years of sim racing experience, of which 16 on iRacing. I am passionate about analysing the telemetry, incidents and helping develop other drivers. I'm not the quickest guy out there but I am strong in the endurance races as I make few mistakes and I have good judgment on track, often anticipating incidents happen before they do. Outside of iRacing, I play guitar and have been in a rock band for 15 years, I am also a sailing skipper with more than 2000 miles under my belt.
